Short-form Drama
Tiny episodes, enormous emotions, suspiciously attractive people making questionable decisions. I help make all of it happen.
Comedy, games, short dramas—and the scenic route between them.
Hao Studio has a wide range of services because I am a very interesting person.
I write code, produce comedy, make games, and work on short dramas. Most people call this a lack of focus. I call it range.
Life is not a ladder. It is a wilderness. I like wandering into new formats, finding the fun part, and building something people want to watch, play, or tell a friend about.
My personal company is 1600375 B.C. LTD. Yes, that is the whole name.
A proper name cost about $100 at the government counter, and I decided branding could wait. Fiscal discipline started early.
I also hold most of Nine Point Comedy and Van Comedy, and serve as CEO of both. “CEO” sounds extremely impressive. The profit-and-loss statements are a little more humble.
ON STAGE & BEHIND IT
I don’t just produce stand-up—I also get on stage and tell jokes myself. So yes, I understand both sides of the microphone, including the part where everyone suddenly forgets how doors and call times work.
Across Vancouver and North America, I’ve produced more than 100 live shows, including three major North American tours spanning New York, Toronto, Vancouver, San Jose, Los Angeles, Seattle, Calgary, Montreal, and other cities where audiences bravely agreed to spend an evening with us.
I learned to make computers behave. This remains an ongoing negotiation.
Years producing stand-up taught me timing, audiences, and that no spreadsheet survives contact with a comedian.
Now I make short dramas, AI mini games, and whatever else looks interesting from over the next hill.
Comedy, games, and short dramas.
Three perfectly reasonable things to put in one studio.
Tiny episodes, enormous emotions, suspiciously attractive people making questionable decisions. I help make all of it happen.
Small, playful games built quickly with AI. Because not every game needs a 400-person team and a ten-year roadmap.
Shows, comedians, audiences, and the beautiful possibility that tonight might go completely off-script.
I use AI-assisted workflows to move from a strange little idea to a finished, playable game—fast. Here are two games from the studio.
A finished, fast and satisfying match-three game built around readable feedback, quick decisions, and the ancient human need to make three colorful things disappear.

A finished cozy arcade game: weave through neighborhood traffic, read the road, and get every bottle to the right doorstep before the clock runs out. No cows were consulted.
“Life is a wilderness. Bring snacks—and maybe a finished game.”
HAVE A GOOD IDEA? A WEIRD ONE ALSO WORKS.
